Shop Local is a hyperlocal marketplace that connects customers with neighbourhood grocery and daily-needs merchants in India. We are a platform — merchants sell the goods; customers pay in INR (₹) only. Live catalogue prices vary by store and are shown in the mobile apps before checkout.
Services we provide
Hyperlocal grocery ordering (customers)
Browse nearby local stores, place grocery orders for home delivery or pickup within supported societies / service areas in India.
Pricing (INR): Product prices set by each local merchant in INR (₹). Sample range shown below.
Local merchant storefront (vendors)
Vendors list inventory, manage orders, set delivery charges, and serve nearby customers through the Shop Local Vendor app.
Pricing (INR): No mandatory listing fee for standard onboarding. Platform commission applies on fulfilled orders (shown in-app).
Delivery coordination
Orders are fulfilled by the merchant (vendor delivers or customer pickup, as configured by the store).
Pricing (INR): Delivery charge set by vendor in INR — typically ₹0–₹99; free delivery thresholds may apply (e.g. above ₹200).
In-app customer wallet
Customers can pay using wallet balance and receive refunds as wallet credits for future orders.
Pricing (INR): Wallet top-ups and order payments in INR only.
Vendor wallet & UPI withdrawals
Vendors earn net order amounts (after commission) and may withdraw available balance to a registered UPI ID.
Pricing (INR): Withdrawals in INR. Minimum withdraw ₹1 (subject to payout partner limits).

Indicative retail ranges for common items sold by local merchants on Shop Local. Actual prices are set by each vendor and displayed in ₹ inside the app at the time of order.
